Holy Childhood Association

The Holy Childhood Association is a vibrant and joyful ministry dedicated to nurturing the faith of children aged 4 to 10 years at Lourdes Forane Church, Gandhipuram. Rooted in the values of love, kindness, and early Christian formation, the association aims to introduce children to the beauty of the Catholic faith and encourage them to live as young disciples of Jesus Christ.

Spiritual Formation & Faith Building

• Through age-appropriate activities, stories, songs, and prayer sessions, the children learn about Jesus, the Holy Family, the Saints, and the importance of prayer, kindness, and obedience.

• The association helps instill core Christian values in the hearts of the children during their early formative years.

Monthly Gatherings

• Under the loving guidance of the Parish Priest and Assistant Parish Priest, the Holy Childhood Association conducts regular monthly meetings where children come together to pray, learn, and play.

• These gatherings often include Bible storytelling, fun activities, skits, drawing sessions, and group prayers, helping them connect faith with joy and friendship.

Participation in Church Life

• The children actively take part in Church feasts, processions, special liturgical celebrations, and mission-themed events, fostering a sense of belonging to the Church.

• Special focus is given during Mission Sunday and the Feast Day on July 28th, where the children participate in various programs highlighting their role as “Little Missionaries”.

Guided with Love and Care

• With the support of dedicated animators and teachers, the children are lovingly led along a path of spiritual growth and Christian community.

• The Holy Childhood Association not only builds their faith but also helps develop confidence, compassion, and moral grounding from a young age.
